Aristaloe aristata

Lace Aloe or Guinea fowl aloe

A stunning, low-growing South African native that forms a dense, spherical rosette. Its dark green, lance-shaped leaves are uniquely decorated with white, raised bumps and soft, feathery white spines along the edges, ending in a distinct hair-like tip.

Compact and clumping. It naturally produces offsets (pups) around the base, creating a beautiful multi-rosette cluster that looks spectacular in terracotta pots or rock gardens. In early summer, it rewards you with tall spikes of tubular orange-red flowers that attract sunbirds.
